Love Is Universal

Love is universal
It can be seen across the world
But it was not meant to be searched for
A person does not FIND love
Love finds them
Love is abstract, not meant to be examined
Probed or
X- Rayed although it has substance
Love and faith go hand in hand
If you have love, you have faith
Love is not in the air
It’s not in a kiss hello or goodbye
It’s not laced between intertwined fingers of young and old couples
It’s not among the smiles of a job well done
Love is in the windows of the soul
And can only be seen by others when we break down the barriers of our hearts
Because when love is knocking on the door
We have a choice whether to let it in or not
Trust me when I say
That love will not wait
Just as door of opportunity will close when we hesitate too long
Love will not stay out in the cold waiting months and years for us
To open up
Just as blessings do not simply fall into our laps
Love will bless you when you open your heart ready to receive
So you can catch love when it comes or you can watch it walk away
