UNtitled, 2

UNtitled, 2

A Poem by K. McNeil

How will you know if love truly does exist,
if you keep our heart locked up and never take the risk.
And for all those who though love brought no pain,
haven't you noticed that
even duing the most beautiful of seasons,
there's always a chance of rain?
I believe everyone has a perfect match but some jus pick wrong.
Sometimes we're blindsighted and
oblivious that the one under our nose was Mr. Right all along.
Everyone we meet is for a predetermined reason
but it's hard if they're there for a lifetime or
just another season.
The more you give, the less he takes,
a relationship shouldn't be that way,
don't make that mistake.
It's okay to fall in love just
don't compromise yourself,
never settle for anything less than the top shelf.
Waiting to be learned are lessons of
Love, Lust and Lies.
And depending on how fast you can move on,
you can find that special one
before your demise.
