Optional Priority

Optional Priority

A Poem by kma_mac

For you I would bare my soul
And I do,
I lay it out
Flat
Gently
Seductive
I turn over
I turn out the lights
Lay myself out,
For you
This is what I get for playing damsel
This is what I asked for
I spread myself open
And expected you not to plunge in
I' ll put my trust in those who can't appreciate
And seek the approval of those I don't love
Don't know
Don't care
I remind myself with a saying that goes
You'll always be my priority
You'll walk all over me with your options
