Wrapped

Wrapped

A Poem by kma_mac

I sat back, my hand curled in a fist
Holding my head, as in thought
Watching you talk
Memorizing your face
Warmed by liquor
People
The woodstove
And all of my layers I wore
Wishing you'd peel them off
Not knowing where it'd end up afterward
I became bold
I became stupid
We fumbled around
Making ourselves sore
There was innocence in those nights
I discovered myself, we discovered eachother
I wrapped all of me in you
