Sure you hear snide remarks about this, that, and the other, a person is not what they used to be, or a place is not what it was, mostly words that blow away fast like dust in the wind, but occasionally words find a target, as if aimed by an arrow straight for the heart, certain people are left ravaged by sounds uttered by the human voice, and devastated by the written word.
