All the Little Blessings

  Such simple things

Make me smile

Songs of birds

Vanilla ice cream

The sweet sound

Of innocent laughter

Tears of joy

A circle of friends

Walking on the seashore

In my bare feet

Chasing a seagull

The beautiful sunset

Reading a good book

Swinging in my backyard

Dancing in the rain

Singing at the top of my lungs

Autumn leaves

Hot cocoa and marshmallows

Fireside stories

Spending some time alone

Piano keys

Hearts and flowers

A sparkle in your eyes

Opening gifts

Placing the star

On top of the Christmas tree

Watching the snowflakes

Dance to the ground

A baby's smile

Jumping on a trampoline

Listening to music

A bouquet of wild flowers

Watching God's miracles

In many people's lives

Changing hearts

Including mine

These are all the things and more

That make my life a joy to share

I will constantly thank God

For all the little blessings He gives
