Prologue

In high school, teenagers are making friends and exploring new things. Once that girl or boy turns 14 or 15 years old, they start high school. 

High school is a place where teenagers experience drama, new friends, academics, sports, clubs, and a little bit of romance. The sports in high school allow teenagers to experience friendship, team work, getting along with others, and their own abilities. 

Everyone has been a teenager in their lifetime, but we all experience it differently. Some may just adore their teenage years and love being young and free. While others might think that their teenage years were the worst years of their life. The thing is that everyone will have different lives as a teenager, but there will be some situations here and there that everyone deals with during their teenage years. For example: Drama is the most common thing that all teenagers experience once in the years as young as 7 years old and as old as 29 or older. The dramatic part of our lives is always following us, but we must learn how to shrug it off and move on. For most teenagers, it isn't as simple to just shrug the drama off and move on because of many reasons (like name calling, rumors, dating, friendships, and much more.) There will be answer as to what other people's reactions will be if they are having drama in their lives. 

Friendships are a great thing to have when you're a small kid to an adult. The friends you make in high school help you determine how you will be judged by others around you. (Yes, I know it's wrong to judge others... but everyone does it. We all are guilty of judging someone else by how they dress, look, or act.) Picking the group of friends to hang with is hard to do, but make sure you choose the ones you'll be able to connect with more. If you are able to connect with your friends more, it will benefit you in the end.

Romance in high school can either be pleasant or dramatic, but it will always be part of your life too. The boys or girls that you date will come back into your life again in the future; maybe not the near one, but in the future sometime. High school allows everyone to experience boyfriends and girlfriends to help you learn what you want to look for in a guy or girl. When you meet that special person for you in the future that you'll get married to, you'll have the high school boyfriends/girlfriends to thank because you found what you wanted in your spouse.

In this book, two best friends will go through their freshmen school year and summer. The teenage high school problems and amazements are experienced by these two best friends. Romance, drama, friendships, and much more follow these girls through their freshmen year. Kelly and I hope our readers will be able to find some alike problems or benefits that they can relate to.

(Just know that everyone experiences what someone else has experienced once in a while; so don't ever think that you're alone.)
