Ocean Shore

Ocean Shore

A Poem by Kelly M.

Sand in my toes
And the wind in my hair
Ocean waves crash
Bringing salt to the air

The hot July sun
Shines overhead
Bright and beautiful
With a touch of red

Countless seashells
Rest on the ocean shore
And up above
Is where the seagulls soar

Barefoot
On a beautiful day
At the sandy beach
Where I wish to always stay

I love this poem! I love the beach so so so so so so much. I live in Seattle and I love it here but lets be honest our beaches are awful. I want to go to school in California so bad (mostly because of the fabulous beaches). But yeah great poem, a favorite of mine. Sorry for rambling I pretty sure I just went valley girl all over this review.

Nice had rhyme time with descriptions and all. Well done and just amazing to describe the ocean, the place I wish to be right now with the sandy beach and ocean waves crashing you speak of. So wonderful job and thank you for giving me a taste of the ocean I can not yet go to.
