Dancing and singing

In the rain

My mama told me

I was insane

Well, I got a bad cold

But it was worth it

I felt carefree

It was perfect

I was free of heartache

Free of pain

It was the only thing

That kept me sane

The thunder cracked

The lightning streaked the sky

As the rain poured down

Giving a hopeful cry

I got a bad cold

But it was worth it
