CompletelyA Poem by GoldenOnelove poem in a new form I wanted to try outI am really glad you showed up
I finally got the guts to say this I just cannot go on another day wishing that you knew all about how I would dream perpetually of you & me, and stay awake at night plotting my amorous spell so unremittingly well, I became completely infatuated with you Then time and unyielding Fate left my longings lying listlessly You left me. You flew far away from here and forgot about me with enviable amounts of ease I began to think I wasn’t crazy but I could see it lurking close Waiting made me heartbroken completely devastated for you The sun did come out of hiding (I’m sure you're happy to know) sidewalks lined with leafy trees neglected to give my tired mind flashes of you, walking near me loneliness had closely cured me with the exciting new beginning & smiles came faster to my face I was completely done with you He came in as neatly as you left He is brilliant and yet so humble sweetly unstained by lonely evil like innocence defined in a man & God knows he is far too good for a girl like me (same way you always were) but there is more: he wants to be with me anyway so I can completely replace you I lie awake thinking of you again and your stupid grin, your stupid dimples and all the stupid things I did that undoubtedly convinced you that I am not the girl for you stupidly, I'd lie awake wondering what makes you better than him but I don't think it's quantifiable I'm completely shattered by you Now the only thing left to say is the one thing I have been trying to explain: please know I would do anything in this world for you and all of your celestial entirety & I would walk to the very ends of this earth for you if you could comprehend just a sliver of how completely I am in love with you © 2011 GoldenOneAuthor's Note
