Heavens Exchange

Reminiscing as time stands still for a moment..

We've had some good times mixed with a lot of bad..

There's a lot of things I should've done differently..

Most of the time the things i'd do wasn't right..

But she never left, she stuck by my side..

She took care of me through my worst even though she was experiencing her worst at the same time..

She held me down & loved me unconditionally..

I loved her the same but she would've never knew it if it didn't slip out once..

Don't get me wrong, I did for her..

I did what every good man does for his woman..

It just so happened to be that I was an emotionally guarded man..

So I couldn't express feelings the same as she would..

She's too good..

To this day, I still wonder how I was so lucky to have found her..

Time resumes & i'm running out of it..

She doesn't deserve this, Father God, please heal her pain..

Father God, take me instead..

If this our goodbye, let me be the one to leave..

Please God, i'm down on my knees..

Take my heart, mind & soul..

Take me home..

Or wherever else..

Just please let her continue to live out her life..

Because I can't live if she dies..

Dear God, please accept my request for this heaven exchange....
