nightmare in real life

nightmare in real life

A Poem by SilentLullabies

you ask my name,

i tell you.

you chase me around,

i run

you catch me,

i fall down.

you're on top of me,

i scream.

you kiss me,

i cry.

you touch me,

i'm so afraid.

you release me,

my body's free.

you leave me,

my mind is trapped.

you remain here,

in my nightmares.

This is a tragedy if I heard one, Vile b******s who force themselves, on one, it nothing short of a demon and should be treated as such... I wish all the best for victims out there and I just want them to remember their are GOOD GUYs out there that will love you for real. Not treat you as a sex toy. Excellent piece

I think the worse part is even after it is all over it still lives in the mind always coming out in dreams. What can be said about this type of abuse? it happens way to much and often goes unreported. A straight forward poem with no chaser.

So sad and scarey for something like this to happen to a person! You can feel the pain and fright!

This is such a sad poem and seems so ... Dark. But this was a great poem; it produced such emotion and sadness. Great job. I'm really sorry that this happened to you.

This has good potential while covering a very sensitive topic. The images were clear without giving too much detail and still evoking strong emotions. The final line really summed it up and showed the lasting scars of the victim
