The Great Adventure

Knowing that this adventure we're on

is just getting started

makes everyday better than the last

Our plans, hopes and dreams

created from a love so wholehearted

makes all my troubles fade into the past

But life moves quickly like the streams 

that flow from the highest peaks

and together we'll achieve, 

everything we seek

Knowing that this adventure we're on

will never leave us parted

lets make the most of every moment 

Because if our love 

ins't worth savouring 

then what is?

So I promise to keep

 in my heart and in my mind

every little thing at this time

that makes you, you

that creates the beautiful being

I was hooked by the structure of the first two stanzas, and I enjoyed the bridge of a third stanza, but after that, and how it goes back into it all in Stanza 4, but, if I may be so bold to say, the poem loses its musical charm and general charm at that, and it just gets sappy with little substance (if any). Great start.....not so great a finish. Pardon my harshness, if I was too much.

(also, "Isn't" is the contraction, there was a typo)
