Childish DreamsA Poem by klawritesIt's all about creation9 months she's been waiting
This whole time she's been creating A dream on the verge of reality Fearing the infant mortality Her dreams, just like a child Are innocent and wild Because with love as the fuel They'll shine like the brightest jewel She cant remember when it started A moment of weakness that left her fainthearted That allowed passion to flow through her body Red and open like an Icelandic poppy She knows dreams, like children are fragile Without caution shes bound to gamble It all away, fearing her life will remain Empty, boring and sane So, she'll nurse her dreams Seeing the beauty in rivers and streams For they show her the truth The essence of her soul and her youth © 2015 klawrites |
