Still Here

Still Here

A Poem by klawrites
"

Oh, grass so green, In dreams of the unseen

"

Don't worry, I'm still here

For a second I wasn't so near

Trapped far beneath my fear

In the distance not so real

Dreaming of my one

But living for the fun

My heart against a gun

Not here for the long run

There's always something better

Don't wait for my letter

Don't worry, I'm still here

For a second I wasn't so near

Trapped far beneath my fear

In the distance not so real

It's not always better

Soon no one will wait for your letter

Be near, be here

You're not your fear

You are real
