Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by Kayla
"

The story about love that is forced to wait.

"

Sitting here watching the clock tick away the night,
My mind is straying, my mind is lost,
But one thing brings me back to earth,
And that’s you.

I’m missing you tonight,
And I pray that you’re missing me too.
It’s been days since I saw you last,
And I count the days till I see you again.

My thoughts linger to you,
And they want to stay there.
I’ve got a lot of time on my hands,
And  you’re not here to waste it with me.

But time will pass,
And you’ll be in my arms soon.
But for now I sit,
And wait for the day.

i absolutely love this piece.
especially right now, when i can really relate to it.
i haven't been able to write a poem about it,
but yours captures everything that i've been trying to.

I like it, I use to be able to relate. I think it is very good people being apart who love one another. Its sad in the end. But none the less this is a good piece. May i ask why you wrote this.
