The Central Park of a Cruise Ship

The Central Park of a Cruise Ship

A Poem by A Decent Playwright
"

What kind of life is a cruise ship for a tree, an organism so unused to motion and dependent on a predictable set of seasons? For a bee, built for biodiversity and freedom?

"
How odd to see
A wayward bee
Upon a bloom
Upon a tree
Upon a ship
Upon the sea.
To live and die there
Rooted permanently,

How lonely is she?

a rather charming thought, captured with simple but forceful write.
