Catch Light, Burn Bright

Catch Light, Burn Bright

A Poem by Karl Klemm

We are become pyre. Our touch catches light all around. Our torches burn to ash and everything turns black while we chant: Catch light, burn bright. Extend your fingertips and send sparks through the air until you feel the glow of life. Don't heed to despair until your body runs dry.
We are become pyre. Our hearts beat into the ground. Our heat uses up clutched to each other while we chant, catch light, burn bright. Extend your fingertips and send sparks through the air until you feel the glow of life. Don't heed to despair until your body runs dry.
