my motherA Poem by kkanchanlove of mother for her mentally challenged child...
I was laying supine
on deathbed...... staring lifelessly to the roof... and very first time.... you whispered in my ears... you said,"i am alive" mother, you made somber shadow passed away..... i was battling to eat my food but, the food fall from the spoon... you feed me from your hand... mother you take away my blind struggle.... in restless times when i was unable to clean my excreta... you hurried to me and washed off the dirt compassionately..... mother you kept me away from filth... gloomy foes were putting me into fear... you take me into your lap.. and you said,"fear is a defilement". mother you teach me an acceptance... when the days were hard and the nights were rough..... misery was upsurging... i scream, i cry, i squander everything.... you hold me tight... near to your heart.... your gentle hand was over my face... your calm eyes looking into mine... and you said,"pain is always alluring to react". mother you ease my trepidation of failure... you are an instance of hope for me... you summon harmony for me mother, i loved you always... i love you forever © 2011 kkanchan |
