Time Flies

This is another poem I wrote years ago about how short life is.

The days just go by

As time continues to fly.

I watch events unfold

As new things grow old.

Soon it will be done.

Will my battles all be won? 

Will I regret the choices I made?

Will my soul in the end by saved?

All I can do is wait

To be showed my ultimate fate.

The days continue to fly

And soon I'll have to say goodbye.

Aww well I don't know honestly! I got into writing novels, and I think I lost my poetic touch! Not on any poetry (not yet, anyways) mostly fiction. I'm publishing a book this fall :)

Oh wow .. you writing novels?? That`s good by me .. because yet i`ve just started writing poetry`s and publishing them all over this cafe`s site and would love to write novels too someday ... I hope, reading your novels would help me to learn some new tips how to write great scripts .. ;) So, have you dropped any one chapter over here so you still working on it? :)

Yeah .. I do love writing in .. Umm, mostly .. in fictions, non-fictions (like poems) and few more what comes in my mind at the time .. lol .. Yeah, you can read but first I`d have to learn how to start and to start writing novels, What all I think, is .. I should have to read some novel writings first .. so, it`d be great to read your first .. if you drop them soon .. Oh No, Next year?? Off .. Umm, would be on here next year?? (Asked to my heart) Ha! Okay, sounds great! Don't worry, that's just the one that's posted on writers cafe right now. My first novel debut is coming up this fall :) I can post the first chapter if you want!
And that would be great! Really, writing a novel is all about determination.... You just have to make yourself write everyday. But it's definitely not for everyone. I think poetry by itself is great :)

Aw you're sweet! You're poetry is beautiful, so I'm sure your novels will be great! I agree, a great novelist always starts off with poetry or short stories. They're each their own different craft, but to be a great writer, each must be mastered.
