A Poem by Everything Happens For A Reason

So strip me down.
Take me to peices.
Try to understand
Try to find meaning.

Why don't you, pull out every drawer
Every thought from every store
Make it so I don't hurt anymore.
Make it so I'm numb to the core.

I'll block every underlying feeling that threatens to throttle me
And go against each impulse and shocking instinct that tells me to flee
Spinning in a daze I grip onto anything
Forced into all of you because you need me just to get through
A night.

But, what about my nights?

I'll waste all my time, just to lend a friendly ear
Soothe away your worries and lay to rest every fear
I'll give all my energy to pointless fights that had no need to rise
Argue till I cry, and end up swallowing all your lies

Bend over so far my back it groans,
My feet they slip, like melted butter over cobblestones.
Memories just serve to taunt my happiness away.
I am incomplete, but yet I'm forced to stay.
Your selfish desires, cling to me.
I want to run and cease to be.

The hope it grows...

Fades away.

Its okay, but i suggest that you make your writing flow! i don't mean to be a crtic but make it sound like a journey rather than words on paper. In addition make the reader imagine whats going on. In some areas i understand and than in others i don't such as "Forced into them all because they need me just to get through
A night.

What about my nights?"
Wasn't this meant to explain your nights?!?
Apart from that it is an intriguing poem. Thanks and maybe attract your reader by given a title! LOL
