Birth Of A Disappointment

Birth Of A Disappointment

A Poem by Everything Happens For A Reason

I was born under a bad star

A bad sign full of misconceptions

About what would increase and decline

I was born when angels cried

Crying tears of woe laced with cyanide

Ugly visions infront of their pretty eyes

Born under a marching band playing the wrong tune

A hopeless clarinet steps out with the blues

While that ole jimmy drum, just keeps on beatin on

To the rock and roll thats almost crude

A shower of fireworks engulfed my birth

And made it clear that they were unrehearsed

In landing, and firing, and avoiding the wrong targets

A flash or purple, red, blue and green
Destroying every normal colour you ever did see

I was born under a canary in a coal mine

Singing sweet to warn of such, crime

And as they yelled spread out, move out lads

I was just buried underneath

Born with visions so insane, travelling through my baby brain

Everything insured, by the power of ugly first words

A sparkle of hope a dash of flame, the promise of no hope but of heavy blame

I was born under a bad star.
