Back Off Before I Snap

Really "Emo"like Poem

It takes a huge mistake

To drag you into despair

To make you claw the walls of a cell

That you used to call your home

It takes one night of angry, mental fatigue

To contemplate and make a decision

Once made, it would shatter easily than four bricks attached by bone.

It would take one comment, from those who you love the most

One shared look of disgust, and distaste

To bring the paranoid loathing back to ravage your soul.

 

You could never hate me more than I hate myself

Its a mantra in my brain as you cut me with your eyes

You could never feel the frustration I feel inside this shell of myself

Watching the dirty lies and impulsive moves as if I weren't part of my own life

And don't you ever, ever try to judge me

With your perfect life and your fabulous friends

Your cruel looks and pretending to be there for me

Because you will never, ever know what I think and you will never, ever control ANYTHING I do

 

Just back off before I snap.
