Dying To Be Alive

Dying To Be Alive

A Poem by Everything Happens For A Reason

I'm dying to be anyone, anywhere

Instead of me and my shape

I'm just dying to tell you anything, everything

Instead of silence of nothing

I'm already dying just sititng here, there, everywhere

Alone in a crowd with my head about to explode

Cant you see I'm not alive

Can't you see the lies

I hide behind

I never thought I'd do this again

Never thought this mask would make me pretend

Can't you see I'm not alive

I'm dying to see a face, i dont know

And have it look at me like im the only thing worth living for

I'm just dying to tell someone that I'll be there for them

Just cause they love me, unconditionally

I'm already dying without poison kisses and trembling touches

Alone in a crowd with my head about to explode

Can't you see I'm not alive

Can't you see the lies

I hide behind

I never thought I'd do this again

Never thought this mask would make me pretend

Can't you see I'm not alive
