Found strength after being black for so long

Burnt by the essence of betrayal, comforted only by poignant song

And like a prince upon his steed.

 

You stole this place away complete

Made it yours to keep.

 

Without grand gesture you pleasantly threw

Every heartbroken tapestry I'd pandered to for so long

Wrapped me in your arms

And with a single kiss promised to keep me strong.
