Empty PocketsA Poem by Kitty RobinsonThis is suppose to be funny. Its about how I spend all my money on junk food then left with crap.Tear me like plastic, break me like glass, Take what you must because I'm all out of cash.
Nothing is left, not even a thought, Memories begin to haunt me of the things that I bought.
There once was a time when I actually had bills, When I went to McDonald's and bought simple meals.
I had bills, quarters, and sometimes even dimes, Now when I'm hungry I just use what I find.
I know I'm more fortunate than most people in town, But that old saying is true; that money makes the world go round. © 2012 Kitty RobinsonReviews
