Emo Buddies

Emo Buddies

A Poem by Kitty Robinson
"

Its about my friend Amber. I wrote this after she left for Texas, so I was to late to give it to her. This is about our friendship and how much it hurted me and others on her leaving.

"

I'm gonna miss you, I wish you would stay,

I wish you didn't have to move over 10 miles away.

You are more than I expected; you are my best friend,

After the day that you leave my heart will never mend.

I don't understand why you have to leave us and go,

There are plenty of things about us that you still don't know.

I cried and whined the day you were about to leave,

Unable to feel your presence makes it hard to breathe.

You were there for me when I was crying over a boy named Chris,

When I was crying over Jason and there's probably more to the list.

I miss you a lot because you keep me on track,

Watching you leave is like a stab in the back.

Emo to Emo; this is love from the heart,

Nothing will ever tear our friendship apart.

This is really beautiful.. Not just in the words but in the sentiment as well. She must have been an amazing friend and I hope she still is even though the two of you are apart now.
