DestinyA Poem by Bellarina[4:04pm - Monday, March 21, 2011]
Fate can deal out brutal hands.
Can bring forth hatred, sacrifice, and the blood of man. Along came two imprisoned souls. Yearning for what, we'll never know. They've ran beyond the open doors. Walked upon the crashing shores. Never could figure out why. Simply having a war with time. Shall we rewind........... She was a looker, a real quaint girl. Couldn't figure out her place in this world. He was a sinner, not a promising catch. Nothing he did ever satisfied his wants. Boy meets girl... The end of the world... Why did it have to take so long? She wrote him a love song. And things just weren't the same. Tossed around by the hands of fate. They lost one another, it was almost too late. Searched for years. Walked for miles. Finally in the blink of an eye... There he was, sitting all alone with no hope at all. She looked down, not making a sound. Glided over to his side. He glanced over, teary eyed. It was then that they knew... Through fire and rain, they made it through. Fought every demon, went through it all. They showed the world the power of love. Whether the end was worth the price... At least they'll always remember the ride. © 2011 BellarinaAuthor's Note
