Sat here and waited by the phone.
At this moment, I've never felt so alone.
The days pass by without a car.
I wonder, did you forget about me?
Can you even feel me here?
Just want you to hear me.
My words still carefully spoken.
They write out the desires I want to display.

I've gathered up my strength.
Brought forth my destiny.
The battle is almost over.
I will not accept defeat.
Walked through glass.
Flames have been tamed.
All in the attempt for you to remember my name.

Sun is setting over the horizon.
I trust that this is true.
Golden hope lights up my soul.
I'm being directed toward you now.
My heart is racing, blaring from my chest.
Can't help but feel that this is best.
You're standing there within my view.
I've gotta make it, be there with you.

My strength has improved.
Destiny abused.
Battle was won.
I got that treat.
Bones are broken.
Hearts are true.
Now I know it's always been you.

I've got you now.
Looking at the stars tonight.
I nearly don't know how.
Gotta be grateful for this sight.
Felt like I had lost the world.
Losing you took away my hope.

You're here with me.
It's the greatest feeling.
Never gonna be without you.
I had come undone.
