The RejectionA Poem by BellarinaIf you read it, you'll more than likely figure out what it's about.I'd run away...
But you already have.
You walked through the door...
And behind you, it closed.
Never have I felt so used...
Never have my emotions been so abused.
Perhaps it was me...
But I know it was mostly you.
A simple phone call...
A message would do.
Unfortunately for you...
Those are things that you don't know how to do.
I'm giving up...
And letting go.
What's the point of hanging on...
If it's not love you're wanting to show?
I can't take this anymore...
And it's killing me inside.
The rejection all around me...
My life...
It has overcome. © 2008 Bellarina |
