Cry Inside

Cry Inside

A Poem by Bellarina

Beautifully torn to pieces

Shattered like shards of glass

My soul has departed

From the ones lurking from my past

Sneaking up behind me

Jumping from the trees

Skipping on the sidewalks

All making fun of me

Joking, laughing, snickering

Thinking that it's all fun and games

This is a thing called life

It is but bittersweet

T'will seem like magic one day

Then hell will arise during the next

Fighting with inner struggles

Longing to search deep down inside

Waiting to find the reason why...

Why do we cry inside...?

Your peom has a haunting, paradoxical message. The words delve deep into the heart and never leave, most especially that trembling question it asks at the end. Touching.

We Cry because we know, that we are more loving inside, then other people see.
I like your words
Them bring a tear to my eyes
Thank you!
