Beauty of Nature

Beauty of Nature

A Poem by Bellarina

Like a falling star

Drifting from the skies above

Similar to fairy dust

Magically surrounding me

The air around me

Brisk with the summer breeze

Gazing at the stars above

Their beauty, I see

Admiring the lightning bugs

Glowing mystically about

Listening to the crickets chirp

Their soothing melody

Touching the dew that's settled

On the rough ground beneath me

My fingertips memorizing

Every distinction of a blade of grass

My eyes wandering about

To see the moon shining bright

The beauty of nature surrounds me

Like a rushing waterfall

The peaceful sound

Of serenity

The bittersweet silence

Surrounding me

I am at peace

I am free

I am myself

Let loose from captivity...

Wow! I like the way you write! You captured that feeling of freedom really true!
Reminds me of sitting up on a bluff, overlooking an isolated valley, in the mountains of California a few years back.
Good job!
