You have been forsaken

You have been forsaken

A Poem by Bellarina
"

I hate it when people are not thankful for what they are given. It's time that I spoke up about them and gave my viewpoint on it. Most aren't appreciative when someone spends money to get them something. It's time for a rude awakening.

"

You hide in the darkness

Away from the world

Thinking that possibly

Things won't get worse

You gave up on yourself

A long time ago

But you think that people owe you something

You think they have to give you everything

Welcome to reality

It's called getting a life

Once you do

Things might improve

But until then

Things will only get worse

Keep on complaining

Forget what I've done

Because in the end

I'll be the chosen one

You gave up on yourself

A long time ago

But you think that people owe you something

You think they have to give you EVERYTHING

Until you realize

That your hands are not worn

And things have been given to you

Through hard work and generosity

That will be the day

That reality will strike

And you'll find yourself at peace with yourself

You have been forsaken

Left alone by everyone

You wonder why you're by yourself

Then ask why you're alone

Things haven't improved

You still haven't realized

That until your hands are worn

You will never gain anything

You won't be able to call anything your own
