Strength

Strength

A Poem by Bellarina
"

For mom

"

Hiding away

Staying out of the world

Sticking to yourself

Holding your own

Standing on your own two feet

Raising your babies

As well as yourself

Your strength immense

Your words gentle

Though it gets hard at times

Things WILL get better

Life will get easier

You will shine like a diamond

Beautiful and illustrious

You will remain different from the rest

Better than everyone

Or so you think =]

When you fall to your knees

And beg God please

Just remember

That he's listening

And already knows your every need

Though you will get laughed at

For your belief

Don't lose your faith

Leave harsh words

In the back of your mind

For you are better than the others

You have strength of a different kind

Similar to mommy strength

Yet stronger

You can fight until the end

Or learn to accept things

As they come your way

Look away from the bad times

Always think of happiness

For life is serene

A bitter mystery

Of things left unseen

The beauty of things are often forgotten

Yet you still notice

And remark every time

If you can show strength of a true fighter

You will always succeed

No matter what may seem wrong

Never face it alone

For with a little help from your family

You will defeat anything that comes your way
