Hiding in the shadows depths
Fighting for a reason to believe
Nothing seems to be within my reach
Not a soul is capable of speech

Within the pits of my soul
There's only a glimpse of hope
Nothing can be comprehended
All will soon be told

There's light flickering on the outside
The peace within its heart
Nothing seems to be logical
I'll just attempt to reach out

Pulling away from the shadows depths
An unimaginable sight of peace gleams
This is not longer irrational
It's finally within comprehension

Arms that envelope a shattered being
A heart that glimmers so bright
Eyes that cause envy from the sun
How does this feel so right

Thankful fools grace the grounds
They'd thrown you around
Left you broken for so long
Guided you to your throne

May I walk beside you
Precious soul that walks alone
Never leave you hopeless
Promise to always hold on

Allow me to be your saving grace
Your angel without wings
The one that won't forsake your love
Your one and only one

Author's Note

Slowly working my way back into writing after a long break away from the cafe. There may be a few errors, but I hope that the point is still able to be comprehended without confusion. As always, thank you for your time.
