Today's Already Past

Today's Already Past

A Poem by The Devil's Own B***h

I see no future for me -

No place in this world,

No reason to be.

No dreams of “one day”

No will to see

What Tomorrow holds.

I live each day

As if it’s already past,

As if Yesterday was my last.

No need to smile;

No need to cry;

Because tomorrow

Could disappear without a trace.

I see no happy ending

To my “fairy tale” life.

I see no prince charming

Whisking me away

To a world of endless joy;

Whisking me away

From all that is today.

No fairy Godmother

To change me into what I’m not;

No glass slipper

To make me “The One”.

I see no family

Down the road;

No husband;

No children;

No dog;

No home.

I see no future for me -

No place in this world,

No reason to be…

Oh Josie, painful, Hope is right around the corner, another heartfelt poem, he's just a man, my daughter would say "plenty of fish in the Sea". Good write my friend, so full of emotions. God Bless you.
Hugs....Annie
