House SittingA Poem by The Devil's Own B***hI miss you already...I’m sitting here in front of your T.V But you’re not here at my side, You’re out having the holiday of your life. I don’t mind – I mean, I did offer to watch your house While you’re away. But I could never have realised Just how lonely this place could be.
Laying on your bed, I turn to where you’re supposed to be, But you’re not there. I pull the blankets higher And hug your pillow. Your scent lingers here and I miss you so bad.
I wish you would come back today. I miss your arms around me; Miss your kisses so sweet; Miss the sound of your voice. I long for you, Baby, More with every passing second. Come back home to me today – I need you here right now…
