The Graveyard, My Home

The Graveyard, My Home

A Poem by The Devil's Own B***h
"

I want to be wherever you are, Samantha.

"

I wander through the tombstones,

The mist encircling me.

I search for my lost one

Among these graves,

But I cannot find her name.

The moon shines dimly

Through the thin layers of cloud,

Illuminating the cemetery

In a neon white glow.

But the light is not enough,

I cannot find her resting place.

I know it’s here.

It has to be here!

Where are you, Samantha?

Please show me the way.

I will search through this graveyard,

Until I find you.

I will make this place my home

So I can forever be with you…

=] that was remarkable. The way you add an actual name really helps me to visualize what you are looking for. The way you speak as you search through the graveyard emphasizes the fact that she is not there. Wonderful. =]
