ENOUGH!!!

Cut off my ears

Burn out my eyes.

Things I cannot hear

And cannot see

Won’t hurt me.

I used to block my ears

But the sound still filtered in.

I used to cover my eyes

But the light still trickled in.

Enough!

I have had enough!

No more sights,

Please, no more sounds.

Just cut off my ears

And burn out my eyes.

What I cannot see

And cannot hear

Won’t hurt me.
