The BeginningA Poem by Kimber GillinghamA poem about the beginning of our lives. The Beginning In the beginning, we were small and
fragile Seeing for the first time, our minds
so agile
We were curious and adored Every room, every corner had to be
explored
We were bold and brave It was expected of us to misbehave
So innocent and unaware We were easy to make happy and easy to
scare
We did not know right from wrong No idea what road we would take or how
long
We had the whole world in front of us Some of us were easy, others may have
kicked and fuss
Our only mission was to learn and grow
Some of us wanted to grow fast and
some wanted to grow slow We had no clue what kind of adult we would
turn out to be We were just having fun and living
carefree
One thing that we were and still are We will always be a great bright
beautiful star
We were born to be great and make the
world great We were born to love one another, not
hate
