RemembranceA Poem by Kimber GillinghamA poem about my grandfather after I lost him.Remembrance He was a great man I was definitely a
huge a fan He told the best
jokes Some too dirty for
folks He made the best
breakfast ever He was extremely
clever He always had a bald
head "she's the good
one" he always said He would always pick
me up from school He was no fool he was
pretty cool I will remember the
good and the funny things I miss you and
thinking about it stings I know what a dirty
magazine is because of you You had a giant
collection I secretly went through It drove me nuts when
you tickled my feet He used to bring home
fresh donuts as a treat I got my G.E.D thanks
to you Something I thought I’d
never get through I fell in love with
the music you listened too Some songs would
leave me breathless and some like goo He is the main reason
I love to cook His food was always
delicious, I liked how it would look I love and miss him
like crazy I will never let my
memories of you get clouded or hazy Thank you for letting
this wonderful man be in my life for as long as he could I hope to see you
again and this time, for good. By: Kimber Gillingham © 2017 Kimber GillinghamFeatured Review
