Sometimes Letting go is Hard to do...

Sometimes Letting go is Hard to do...

A Poem by kenzie
"

sad

"

I know you had to leave me,
and that things will never be the same.
Although my tears won't stop falling,
and all I feel is pain.

I will never forget all the fun times we had.
But now that all I have are memories -
those will never fade.
I'll just have to remember the past,
that's the only way to make the good times last.

Life is full of ups and downs;
so I guess I'll just have to deal.
I'm not sure how you did it,
but my heart you surly did steal.

Your words were sweet and kind,
somthing I thought I'd never find.
My happiness seems to slowly fading away,
everything would be different now if only you could've stayed.

I suppose that's why I dislike getting attached,
because I'll be caught in this awful trap,
in the end, alone again,
my mind just might snap!

I want so much for you to feel the same as I do,
for you to understand me,
and me to understand you, too.

I just wish you could hold me and never let go.
Mabey we can be together again...
I wish I could know.

There are so many questions yet to ponder in my mind,
and so many awnsers I hope to eventually find.
Sometimes letting go of things is very hard to do,
there isn't any regret from me and I hope none from you.

I know this isnt love but everything before,
I wish I could see my future and what I have in store
.
