Last goodbye

Last goodbye

A Poem by Olive Belikov

Why'd you go

I loved you so.

You took a dart

and pierced my heart.

I lie in bed

My head filled with dread

Though my thoughts wonder to

How I'll never not love you.

The angels call

From Heaven they fall

To collect you from

Where I stand numb.

Standing in the rain

Encircled by pain,

I come to say goodbye

One last time.

I don't know what I would do if a sibling died, but I would probably write something very similar to this. Touching, And you wrote it when you were ten? wow.

This expresses well the finality of the end of something..saying Goodbye. It expresses also how painful it can be.
