An Incandescent LoveA Poem by Olive BelikovGeorgia, sweet Georgia, you are my dazzling fatality. Your sweet seduction lies within the world’s impartiality. Networks of entangled strings eclipse the universe you’ve crowned. Georgia, incandescent Georgia, you are the reason I am not found. Harrowed paths with twisted leads bring us ‘round to a perfect constellation; you are my only love, my only true temptation. In our time, strings were wrenched, to say, the strings were snared, but Georgia never once bowed down, Georgia never anxiously declared a truce among the cosmos, or a break within the stars. Georgia kept by my evanescent side. Georgia broke away my bars. © 2013 Olive BelikovReviews
