The Blood Red Rose.

The Blood Red Rose.

A Poem by .abigail.

Snow falls from ashen skies

As she walks alone.

Her lips are blue and her face pale

As she walks alone.

She leaves light footprints in the snow

As she walks alone.

The snow covers her footprints quickly

As she walks alone.

She stops and kneels.

And pulls something from her coat.

A blood red rose,

With sharp thorns.

She pricks herself

And drops the rose.

Down on the snow, red on white.

Her blood drips on the white snow.

Next to the blood red rose.

As the snow falls from the ashen skies.

She walks, but not alone.

About
Hey. My real name isn't Abigail, but I prefer it, and I don't want my friends to read any of the stuff I've written, so I'm not putting my real name. I was born in 1994, I live in Australia. M.. more..
