midnight to sunrise

It’s always darkest before

The Dawn.

We’ve all heard that before.

Just another ‘wise’ quote,

We’d scoff.

It’s not as if it’s true.

 

It came true for me,

When you came along.

You led me from the midnight,

To sunrise.

Where the sun dried my tears,

Instead of rain hiding them,

And the clouds thinned.
