Rain.

Rain.

A Poem by .abigail.

The rain is pulled downwards,

Seemingly falling.

The splashing of water on the pavement,

Seems like an accident,

As if the tear-like droplets had tripped in the clouds,

And were tumbling down to Earth.

Toppling downward to spatter the face of the world with their coldness.

Most people don’t like the rain.

But I do.

It hides tears.

I agree with Mariah, rain is always seen as sad, depressing or scary, but some of us can't help but see it as the best kind of weather. Personally, I find rain to be highly inspiring. I like your line about it seeming that the raindrops had tripped in the clouds. I don't know exactly why I like it, but it's lovely. This poem is very nice (though my personal preference is poems that rhyme, but I won't hold that against you), keep up the excellent work!

I love rain. It's seen as very sad and depressing, but I'm drawn to it.

This is a really well-worded poem, and it flows nicely. I like the end, because it ends so abruptly.

It works, in this case.

Hey. My real name isn't Abigail, but I prefer it, and I don't want my friends to read any of the stuff I've written, so I'm not putting my real name. I was born in 1994, I live in Australia. M.. more..
