This is about a guy who I'm in love with, and I'm like 99% sure he doesn't know or care.

I watch you.

I watch you as you talk.

You laugh. You look at others.

You look at me.

I look back with hope and longing.

You don’t see it.

You just see another person.

You don’t see the one who’s in love with you.

Just the girls with their straightened hair and tanned skin.

Not the one that matters.

Not that she matters to you.

You’ve got a wife. And kids.

I have no one.

Because no one has my heart.

Except you.

You hold my heart in your hands.

And you don’t realise it.

You don’t realise that with one smile,

My heart is leaping in your hands.

That my mind is wandering to a place where we can be together.

Where my love is shared.

Where I’m on the front bench of your life.

Then you laugh, and I come back.

Because I want to see you smile.

i wrote this in like 5 minutes, and the 'front bench' bit means something to me, it just might not to you, especially since it's an inside joke kinda.
