Butterfly

a million effects

from the tiniest cause

 

a butterlys flutter

can change the whole world

 

happiness is coming

with the flutter of a wing

 

love is something special

but no so much for me

 

and her future is afflicted,

just a side effect of cause.

and her heart is growing colder,

but she can't explain why,

and the one she truely loved

never even cared

and the ones that were perfect

she hardly knew were there

 

a million miles away

someone was crying out

and everyone could hear them,

without a doubt,

 

and she knew she had to find them

but she knew to stay away

 

her heart is bruised and broken

to this very day

 

and the butterfly is flying

away from the scence

and he is not the reason for this terrible disease

 

and she know the plague is coming

but she just sits and waits

for the butterfly had fluttered, sealing her fate

A very good story in your words. I had to read the poem a few times. Life is a funny and a odd journey. We can swim in happiness and pain in the same minute. I like the use of the butterfly in the poem. The butterfly is a creature of mystery. So beautiful and delicate. i like the complete poem. A outstanding ending to a well written poem.
