Sarah

Sarah

A Poem by Kitt

Sarah

She’s here

She’s just listening

She sits still

But she’s always watching

I get upset

So it’s her turn to play

She’ll talk sweet to me

Then pushes me away

She tells me she’s my protector

I believe her

She eases all my pain

But only for a couple hours

Her methods aren’t so good

But she’s human

Sometimes she’s the only thing that puts me asleep

Everybody hates her

Except me and my friend

What everybody doesn’t understand is

Sarah is a person too

She’s in my head everyday

She’s only 15

She comes out of my darkest hours

Just to relieve the pain

Nobody knows how grateful I really am

She is my protector

And she does it rather well

But still they hate

They will never understand

She’s only human

Can’t she make a mistake?

It’s how we cope

It’s nothing more

It’s a way of survival

When I’m down again

She’ll sing Breaking Benjamin

She’s got dirty blonde hair

Her eyes still a mystery

Her touch, so gentle

Her tone, confident

Her words, comforting

When I call for help

She’s always there

She takes the abuse

As she stands over me

She is her own person

But she doesn’t mind too share

Every day we talk

She’s here to guide me

My little savoir
